We’ve all been here, just a few seconds away from throwing the PC across the room, luckily for you NYCOM can fix most I.T. issues by remotely connecting to your computer. There are exceptions, such as when the computer is not turning on, hardware faults, and internet access issues. In those situations, we can either perform the work on-site, or you can bring your computer to our very own A&E workshop at Clifton Moor for hands on first aid.
To start a remote session:
Click the above link to Join a remote session. Our Engineer will give you a Session Code to enter, then press join and follow the instructions given.
Bear in mind that our engineers will see what documents you are working on or looking at, so if any are sensitive, please close them before starting your session.
Don’t worry, this method is completely secure ensuring you will be able to see what our engineers are doing on your computer and you can revoke control from us or terminate a support session at any time. We have policies in place to protect you against breaches of privacy and to define the appropriate use of our remote assistance technology.
